Women of Worth is a ministry dedicated to supporting and uplifting women aged 18 and older in the community of Avian Park.

The women we serve face immense challenges in their daily lives, including economic hardships due to unemployment, substance abuse, broken family structures, and the emotional and physical strain of caring for children and spouses with disabilities. These difficulties prevent them from living fulfilling and prosperous lives.

Through our discipleship meetings, we provide a safe space for women to connect with their emotions and support one another. They also develop strategies to navigate their challenges using various therapeutic approaches implemented by Theresa Booysen.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to break the cycle of distrust, rejection, and abandonment by guiding women who carry deep mother and father wounds toward healing. By fostering emotional restoration, we empower them to embrace their roles as responsible mothers to their children. We counteract the effects of arrested development through one-on-one counseling, inner healing, and art therapy.
